| Bio: | Name: Jamie Tyler Age: 139 Height: 6'0 Point taken from canon timeline, or nature of AU-ness: AU. Strong. Strong AU Brief Personality Description: Jamie lives to discover things. He has three official degrees in hard sciences, and about a dozen he should have been awarded if the study was in anyway official. He's not a quiet man by any means. Any means. Pure genetics would prevent that from being true. He's very passionate about anything he considers important, taking it on. He wants to meet his other parent, but it's mostly curiousity. Brief History: Jamie was born in 1869, concieved in 200,100. He killed his father being born, but, fortunately, his father was Jack Harkness and his body knit back together. He and his father traveled- Jack fiercely over protective and very confused by this tiny life that seemingly came out of no where. As Jamie got older, the intellect and the really big ears slowly gave away who his other genetic donor was. The how remains under question. Jamie kept getting older. Jack didn't. Jamie went to university in 1886, then started to travel, all over the world exploring his home. He's fiercely devoted to his home planet; Gallifrey is gone, Boshan doesn't exist yet, and Earth is the only planet he has. Jack started working for Torchwood when Jamie was 3; part of his agreement was that Jamie would never be touched. He's never met his other father and he's. Sort of okay with that. He wishes his father could catch back up with the Doctor, but he knows it's because Jack needs answers. Jamie worked in India in his twenties as a secetary and a correspondant for Torchwood. When he was 40 he started travelling all over on his own. He met a few of the Doctor's companions, but, by and far, managed to avoid the Doctor himself. When Jamie was 126, in 1995, and looked almost every minute of it, he was visiting his father in London. They were in front of Big Ben when he had a heart attack. Jack was with him, babbling about regeneration when Jamie well. Did. He generated to about six years old. Jack, unfortunately, found it hysterical. Jamie found it horrifying. Mostly because he had to have a nanny. They lived in Cardiff, Jamie occasionally worked in translation at Torchwood. Alex decided he was just a very short friendly alien. Jamie took that. Jamie was fortunately home on the new year when Alex took out Torchwood three. When Jamie looked about 17 and was, in fact, 137, Jamie went to Oxford. He wasn't in Cardiff when the Doctor, Rose, and Jack came through, and he was far away when Torchwood One went down. He immediately returned to Cardiff after that, however. His father sent him away for another year, though, back to university, but when Jack disappeared, Tosh contacted him because he was listed as Jack's next of kin.
